Christmas Appeal 2009

£256 raised in our Christmas Appeal. Many thanks to those who donated.

In September this year one of my dearest friends, Abbas Jafari, went missing in Nepal following a kayak accident. His Nepalese friend, Badri, has done a lot to help the search financially, physically and emotionally – still offering great support to the friends who continue to search.  To turn this tragic event into something good I would like to try and raise some money for the orphanage that Badri founded and now runs. I asked him what he needed the most, and he replied that money was the most useful thing as there is so much they need, from a safety rail for the roof, to  pots of paint to cheer the place up and help keep it cleaner.

The cost of keeping one child per month is 40 euro – so you can see that a little money from here will make a big difference there.

I will be donating £2 from every massage I do in December to the orphanage.

If anyone would like to add their own contribution that would be fantastic – all money raised will be sent directly to the orphanage.

TO DONATE:

there is a collecting box at The Massage Place, or you may donate online via the shop.

MANY THANKS & HAPPY CHRISTMAS!!
